stone. Used it today for the first time and was very impressed. Really
nice shape, kept a good edge and the leather strop bought it back to

I’ve done two roe bucks in quick succession with it yesterday.
It will see 20 more maybe in the next month or 2.
It will get better use when the hinds start.
However , its light , razor sharp, not too big , good blade design and I wish I’d bought two Dave_45 Stalkingdirectory.co.uk

This is a long time review of the ALLHone Skoner knife. My
favourite knife for over 45 years was the Mercator Solingen Lockback
knife. When loosing mine I was persuaded to try a ALLHone Skoner and now
this is my all time favourite knife. As a farmer I really put it
through its paces. The blade is strong and stays sharp. I use the knife
to pry things open and as a scraper. I cut electric fence live strand
wire to butchering sheep for dog tucker, to cut live strand and stay
sharp is a testament to how good the blade is. The blade seams to be
easy to sharpen too compared to the Mercator. The handle is perfect for
me, it is a good size to hold onto but slim in the pocket, the texture
gives good grip too. I like the blade lock too, easy to use and prefer
it to the back lock.
It was quite a punt to go away from the Mecator but glad I did.
