Our grommets cover more area so are not prone to fail like the metal ones under tension when the material pulls out of the grommet.

The material is pinched between the clasps so it's locked up. Make the slit in your material smaller diameter than the gommet hole. Stretch material oever the 3 clasp claws, align second part and tap together with flat surfaces.

No press or die needed.
