Mercator C75 is a good steel and it's edge does like a regular touch up to perform.

Option provide zero or a 12.5 degree angle guide for efficient resharpening.

No need to guess angle.

12.5 degree lay the blade's flat surface onto the degree planar guide and sharpen.

Mercator have a 4 degree angle for each side of the blade from projected edge to spine so the 12.5 + 4 = 16.5 degree angle . They have a 20 degree ex factory so the 16.5 is about the maximum apex for the C75 57 hrc edge. If you want more angle simply raise the spine further. It's far simpler reference point than the the old method half of 90 degrees to 45 and halve that to 12.5 then adjust to preferred angle or randomly guess.

Conveniently clips on and off the belt and can be worn clipped onto the neck of t-shirts, pockets of shirts and trousers.

To extend the sheath's life the diamond stone is removable and replaceable after wear from use.

Lever the old one off and remove backing tape from new diamond stone and stick it on.

Wet the stone and sharpen.

The sheath holds the Mercator snugly without rattle.

A flexible loop fits over 4cm wide belts and with a hook to hold itself onto the belt. Simply clip it the sheath onto the belt and can be removed by flexing the loop creating a gap and manually guiding the belt through the gap.

A hole in the bottom of the sheath is for drainage.
