By request of our users, we are now happy to present the new model Elbrus, a 100% leather version of the model Fitz Roy, one of the biggest hits of last year.

The Elbrus is a superior quality classical alpine boot, combining the high levels of lightness, freedom of movement and comfort of the Fitz Roy, adding the duration, strength and protection offered by the one piece seamless Perwanger leather.

Like all our High Mountain models, the Elbrus is 100% rigid and thermally insulated (Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort), making it a natural choice for classical 4-season mountaineering activities up to about 4.000-5.000 meters, with a very accomplished level of protection vs. comfort and low weight.

Although a relatively lightweight boot, the Elbrus offers the comparably thick (8mm) and sturdy Vibram Breithorn sole with an extraordinary resistance against wear and teat

Clever no sewing on the lower sides with the super full rand to deal with abrasion and cuts. Add to this this boot is fully resoleable. Great for farming or mountain edging with support from the EVA and when it wears out, simply replace it all. How simply clever is that.
