Born from the need for improved light, compact and versatile edge sharpeners for uses from home or workplace to remote wilderness.

ALLHONE twin Angle Sharpener handle's flat surfaces align the blade angle and this speeds up resharpening with 240 and 1200 grit combo for what is known in the sharpening fraternity as a work edge a hunter will love.

600 and 3000 is for shaving edge for hair removal obviously if in the bush you need to do that. Most have a razor at home though to remove that weeks growth.

240 if that sounds to coarse for you well let me explain that all for the diamond stones including expensive USA ones quickly lose the outstanding grits as they get knocked off and lost giving a more uniform level field of grit height within a few sharpenings. Thats just normal practical real world stuff. Thus creates what is known as a working edge not a shaving edge. The two are different and are you shaving or cutting? You can still remove hair with it but shaving a face will end up in a bloody mess. Shaving edges are smooth.

Not sure that you are resharpening at the best angle every time? This tool fixes this problem without the need of complicated devices to help you achieve a consistent resharpening angle and save time in the process instead wasting time removing shoulder steel instead of sharpening the actual edge angle.

Palm held handle provides opposing 10/10, 12.5/12.5 ,
15/15 or 17.5/17.5  angled flat surfaces for creating a single edge on your blade.

Simply lay a flat side of the blade onto to the flat handle surface adjacent to the diamond stone to set the angle for resharpening the blade edge. Then move the blade in forward and then backward in a rotational motion and relay the blade onto the flat surface to re-align the degree and repeat motion until resharpened.

Best 240/1200 at 15 degree. Shaving edge is smooth and therefor not as good for actual practical cutting. In actual use we do not spend our time with knives in any measurable useful way shaving ourselves. To create a shaver edge you also need to spend more time on fine stones and strops. I recommend this combination 240/1200 at 15 degree for real use. The toothy edge cuts better so the 240 stone does that . Think of steak knives that are serrated. Its common sence.

You can calculate the apex angle of any blade at the above. Enter your blade measurement from edge to spine as leg (if your blade is not a flat grind and is a bevel type estimate the spine width by eye off the flat surfaces) and enter the spine width as base and it will automatically calculate the apex angle as vertex angle. An ALLHONE Skoner has 25mm leg 4mm base is 9.177 and half is roughly 4.5mm which you add. So the 15 degree handle planar sharpened this blade at 19.5 degrees. Perfectly all day long.

Typically  the Mercator and other folders the 15 degree and for a scandi bevel which is effectively a wider thicker spine for bushcrafters the 12.5 and the common Victory NZ, Victorinox type knives the 17.5 is good.

Now for steels such as 14c28n you want the 12.5 handle as these nitrogen steels are tough and absolutely need an acute angle to extend the edge life during wear. Remember we aren't shaving but for the 14c28n it will have be both to work as well as over 60hrc. Cedric an online knife tester used 12  degree edge with a micro bevel as it was so fine without the micro bevel it was rolling over and the practical use for this is questionable.so the 12.5 degree handle should be good and be at around 15 degree for most blades.

Hope it made sence for you.

Pocket sized only approx 14 cm long

Diamond stone surfaces approx 75mm x 30mm.

Preferably cover diamond grit surface with oil for storage as micro knife steel particles produced during sharpening may not be stainless so can rust.

ALLHone Angle Guide Twin Diamond Sharpener will produce a good clean and efficiently sharpened edge with a little practice. Repeatable in the field without complicated apparatus.

The image of the 3 Mercators illustrates edges produced by myself without much practice. I had sharpened half dozen edges for practice before. The edges shown are neat and re-sharpened faster.
