Bear Super Grizzly

The Original Super Grizzly bow was available in the mid-1970s and was reintroduced in 2011 to the delight of archers who prefer a smooth shooting feel. The Super Grizzly's performance is based, in part, on two layers of lamination in the limbs, creating a better feeling, better shooting recurve bow without hand shock.

Improvement of the most popular Bear Bow the Grizzly. The Supper Grizzly has its reinforced limb tips so that is can be used with higher tension string. Plus and extra laminated layer in the Riser for more rigidity.

First introduced in 1973, the Super Grizzly was best known for its distinctive red stripe – a detail that is still proudly displayed on this 2011 recurve. The two-layer laminated fascor-powered limbs are backed and faced with high-strength black fiberglass for better shooting and feeling without hand shock. Two-piece riser is made of black dymond wood and features a red accent stripe. Crowned, cut-past-center arrow shelf with Bear Hair rest and leather side plate. Handcrafted tips are layered with red dymond wood and black fiberglass for use with modern bowstrings. Includes a durable, red and black Dynaflight 97 Flemish Twist string.

35# @28", I shoot at 29" but no problem at all! No stacking.
I can recommend this bow, doesn't need to get accostumed to.
