ALLHONE Mercator diamond sheath designed for the MERCATOR knife.

Conveniently clips on and off the belt and can be worn clipped onto the kneck of t-shirts, pockets of shirts and trousers.

This new and novel sheath snuggly fits all the famed Mercator pocket knives from Germany. A household name among the farming and hunting fraternities for over a century in NZ.

Due to the Mercator's slimline design means a slimline and light sheath can fit it and combined with the clever handy sharpening diamond grit stone means you'll always have a sharp blade. It's the perfect marriage of the great Mercator with another great idea.

Features:

Cleverly the diamond stone is removeable and replaceable due to wear from use. Just by laying the stone side into a container of shallow hot water with a level that can just flow into the area where the knife is inserted and after 10 seconds lift it out by the belt clip and remove the worn stone, repeat into the water until you can. Do not leave in hot water as it will warp the plastic. Either place the replacement stone in water or blow wave with heat until the glue on the replacement stone is melted and press the stone onto the sheath. You may want to wear a glove for this. The glue is a low temp melting craft stick adhesive called Surebonder cold shot made in the USA.

These are best used as spit stones. Somehow the fines don't rust that way. No other care needed. Spit and leave alone.

The sheath holds the Mercator snuggly without rattle.

A flexible loop fits over 4cm wide belts and with a hook to hold itself onto the belt. Simply clip it the sheath onto the belt and can be removed by flexing the loop creating a gap and manually guiding the belt through the gap.

A hole in the bottom for drainage.

Sheath knife housing is rectangular and easy to clean.

A durable and convenient 2000 grit 75mm x 30mm diamond resharpening stone is mounted into a recess is readily available for field sharpening. This stone is replaceable when worn out;
