ALLHONE Mercator diamond stone replacement for the MERCATOR knife.

Due to the Mercator's slimline design means a slimline and light sheath can fit it and combined with the clever handy sharpening diamond grit stone means you'll always have a sharp blade. It's the perfect marriage of the great Mercator with another great idea.
The diamond stone is relatively durable giving a goood service life.
Features:
A rectangualr stone providing a diamond surface and opposing surface a low heat sensitive adhesive.
Method of removal;
Cover the bottom of a cooking pan with 5mm of water add heat to boiling then turn off heat
Place the ALLHone diamond sheath with the stone facing down into the water for no more than 10 seconds
Remove by carefully gripping the sheath's clip loop
Use the point of your Mercator to lever the stone's edge
If the stone does not shift then place again into the pan with hot water for another 10 seconds
The stone should shift and be able to remove.
Repeat steps until it does.
Do not leave in the water for extended time as this will warp the sheath.
Always take care with hot water.
Method of replacement;
Place the stone with the diamond abrasive face down onto a flat wood surface
Heat the facing upward adhesive surface until it is softened with a heat gun/ blow wave
Carefully line up the recess of the sheath with the stone and press together
If not aligned perfectly then adjust by finger to align the stone into the steath's recess
Lay the stone face down onto the wood flat surface and press down on the sheath to pressure the stone into the recess.
