The excellent Black Hunter bows are manufactured by Junxing and then rebranded and sold under various other USA brand names. This is a highly popular bow proven worldwide due to its performance as good as the top expensive traditional bows.

The difference in time between assembling a clip in ILF bow and the screw system of the Black Hunter is approximately one minute at the most and the Black Hunter 171 type is quieter which is more important for hunting.

We recommend string silencers for hunting purposes such as cats whiskers of the waterproof type and adhesive dampeners for the limbs. It is supplied with a pair of these with the recurve version.

The recurve F171 is easier to shoot and tune than the longbow F172 in our own comparison tests with very good tiller heights measured and arrows flying straight into the target.

For accuracy be careful not to overbow yourself with a higher poundage and build up your steady form. Less is also better for repetitive practice which is the big part of trad archery and half the fun. Simply set up your own range in the back yard and you'll find out how addictive it is. Great for kids aswell to get them off the silly social mdia and games.
